Dr Andrew Kiyingi is an Australian trained Specialist Weight-Loss (Bariatric), General and Endoscopic Surgeon with advanced training and over 2 decades of clinical experience. He completed a Masters of Surgery and an International Bariatric Fellowship. Practising both north and south across Perth, Dr Kiyingi offers a comprehensive range of services including Gastric Sleeve, Gastric Bypass, Gallbladder, Gastric Band Removal, Hernia, Reflux, Gastroscopy & Colonoscopy.
Renowned for his precision, professionalism and warm patient-centred approach, Dr Kiyingi leads a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering personalised treatment and long-term support. Dr Shahriar “Raj” Zaman is a fully qualified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with extensive training in Australia and internationally. After completing his MBBS at the University of Western Australia in 2009, he went on to train across multiple surgical disciplines, including plastic surgery, neurosurgery and general surgery, before achieving his FRACS (Plastic Surgery) certification in June 2022.
Raj’s surgical expertise is broad, with particular interests in hand surgery, melanoma and skin cancer management, complex microsurgical reconstruction, and aesthetic breast and body contouring surgery. His skills have been shaped globally — including advanced training in South Korea with world-renowned microsurgeons and in Sydney alongside leading aesthetic surgeons.
Known for his warm, personalised approach, Dr Zaman is committed to ensuring every procedure delivers meaningful improvement to his patients’ lives through high-quality care, safety and service. Outside of medicine, he enjoys family time, travel and sport. He is an active member of RACS, ASPS, ASAPS and WASPS.
Dr. Alistair Rowcroft is a highly experienced specialist general and hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) surgeon with extensive expertise in managing complex disorders of the liver, pancreas, and gallbladder. As a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, he combines advanced surgical skills with accomplished endoscopic techniques including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and ERCP.
Dr. Rowcroft specialises in treating gallstones, gallbladder polyps, liver tumours, pancreatic conditions including cancer and chronic pancreatitis, adrenal tumours, hernias, and splenomegaly. He is committed to delivering personalised, evidence-based care using the latest surgical and endoscopic techniques to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Dr Paul Grolman is a Specialist General Physician and Intensivist who brings extensive expertise in complex medical care to BMI Clinics. He currently practises at Joondalup Health Campus as a Consultant in General Medicine and Intensive Care, and consults twice weekly at BMI Clinics, providing dedicated support for patients with significant medical and metabolic needs.
Dr Grolman’s interests span obesity management, the identification and treatment of serious co-morbidities in patients with morbid obesity, and the medical management of acutely unwell individuals, including those requiring intensive care. He has substantial experience in peri-operative optimisation and the management of cardiovascular risk factors such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus and hypercholesterolaemia. His thorough, compassionate and highly skilled approach ensures patients receive exceptional medical oversight throughout their weight-loss journey.
Dr Indi Wijegoonewardene is a highly skilled General Practitioner with extensive experience across family medicine, skin cancer medicine, minor surgical procedures, men’s health and preventative care. Rhiannon Dick is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) who supports patients through every stage of their bariatric journey, from preparation and surgery to long-term lifestyle change. Kerry Andersen is an experienced Dietitian with over 12 years of clinical practice treating a wide range of medical and nutritional conditions, including bariatric surgery, paediatrics, allergy and intolerance, and gut-related disorders.
